(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Nov 2, 2009) In a week 8 NFI Dinasty League battle, Paco Roots Bagnacavallo squeaked by a tough Culpepper Sioux Milano team by a score of 114.5 to 113.6, behind the support of 71,030 faithful fans.

Paco Roots Bagnacavallo were led to their 0.9 point victory by a 30.3 point effort from Maurice Jones-Drew, who tore apart the Tennessee Titans defense for 177 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds. With this performance, Jones-Drew was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 20.7 point effort from Reggie Wayne, who beat the San Francisco 49ers defense for 147 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.

"I want to thank my Lord and Savior," Paco Roots Bagnacavallo coach paco said.

Culpepper Sioux Milano were helped out in a losing cause by a 30.3 point effort from Maurice Jones-Drew, who tore apart the Tennessee Titans defense for 177 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds. With this performance, Jones-Drew was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 8. They also got help from a 14.5 point effort from Julius Peppers, who beat the Arizona Cardinals offense for 1 tackles and 1.0 sacked a qb.

"They just made the big plays and we didn't," Culpepper Sioux Milano coach culpepper said.

Causing further embarrassment, Culpepper Sioux Milano could have scored 139.1 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but culpepper left key players like Eli Manning and his corresponding 14.5 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Paco Roots Bagnacavallo to 4-4, and drops Culpepper Sioux Milano to a record of 2-6.

We are beginning the later part of the fantasy season and now is the time to pay attention to trends and predictions. Several match-ups are challenging this week and other players have internal competition that is limiting their play and production lately.

In Week 9 I have two quarterbacks, two running backs and three receivers to avoid. The Cincinnati versus Baltimore match-up round two will likely feature a grind on the ground with Cedric Benson and Ray Rice eating at the clock. Both Joe Flacco and Carson Palmer will get their chances, but both will likely see limited yardage and turnovers. Knowshon Moreno has not been that productive lately and faces a tough Pittsburgh rush defense that is giving up less than 80 yards to (More...)
